The recipe for this blend is believed to have originated from thieves during the 15th century. When caught, the thieves confessed to using the formula and exchanged the recipe for a less severe punishment for their crimes.

Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, nor prescribe any course of therapy. If you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition, consult your physician before using these products. I hope you have great results when using this product, but please remember that results will vary depending upon the nature of the person using them. A skin test is recommended to determine possible allergic reactions or sensitivity. Discontinue use if allergic reaction occurs. To test if you are sensitive to an essential oil or blend simply massage some of the essential oil on the inside upper portion of your arm and wait an hour before applying more or washing the area. If no redness or itching develops, you’re most likely not sensitive to the essential oil or blend being tested and may proceed with use! If redness or itching does develop, immediately apply a carrier oil or olive oil over the tested area. Since essential oils are fat soluble, they will be drawn out into the carrier/olive oil that is applied.
Possible Contraindications may include:
Literature suggests that people with epilepsy, high blood pressure, and pregnant women should avoid Rosemary because of the camphor content.
Sedatives (such as barbiturates, benzodiazepines, anesthetics) Essential oils noted as “sedating” may interact when applied topically or taken internally. Harris notes that essential oils high in 1,8 cineole such as Rosemary, Eucalpytus, Ravintsara and Bay Laurel (Laurel Leaf) are contraindicated for those on barbiturates, as they induce rapid metabolism of these drugs. 1
Many oils commonly used for respiratory issues, such as Rosemary, Eucalpytus, Ravintsara and Bay Laurel (Laurel Leaf) are high in 1,8 cineole, which can interfere with metabolism of anesthesia. Clinical aromatherapist, Rhiannon Harris notes that these should be avoided (both topically and via inhalation) for at least a week prior to any surgeries to prevent complications.1
Liver and/or kidney impairment makes an individual more vulnerable to toxic effects of oil overuse.
Eugenol found in Clove is a potent prostaglandin inhibitor, and is to be avoided by people with significant renal (kidney) disease. Eugenol, which is not contraindicated for pregnancy, is cautioned against breastfeeding because of the anti platelet aggregation activity as it could pass into breast milk.
